President

To me, PAUSE is more than a society – it’s a vibrant community where students passionate about psychology come together to connect, grow, and support one another. As President, I’m dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment that not only enriches our collective knowledge but also provides mentorship and meaningful opportunities for every member to thrive. Through events, roundtables, and workshops, we aim to inspire curiosity and empower each other, ensuring that PAUSE remains a source of both academic and personal growth here at UTM.

PAUSE is important to me because it has given me the opportunity to connect with other students within the psychology community at UTM. It’s a great society that has introduced me to a lot of opportunities and people while being both fun and educational.

PAUSE, for myself and others alike, is an opportunity to reach beyond our academics and nuture a community that chases the same goal and explores the growing world of psychology! I'm extremely excited to see what this opportunity has to offer and bring all I can to the table!

PAUSE is about creating a space where we can explore and connect over our shared passion for psychology. It’s a way to make the field relatable and impactful by curating content and events that bring psychology into our everyday lives, fostering both learning and a strong sense of community!

PAUSE to me represents a community, a place where we can all connect over our love for psychology and grow together as a collective. Being the Social Media Coordinator for PAUSE is a way for me to connect with other students who share my passion for psychology. It's about creating a space online where we can all learn, share ideas, and a way to create a sense of unity, here at UTM.

PAUSE is a diverse group of individuals who have come together to explore and build relationships within the field of Psychology. Being able to connect with like minded individuals through PAUSE events and opportunities has been amazing which is why I decided to pursue an executive position at PAUSE.
I look forward to things we can achieve this year!

I've been an active member of PAUSE since my first semester. After recognizing that this association was the main community hub for Psychology students at UTM I began attending most meetings. PAUSE has thus always provided me the necessary social sphere of like-minded people, and especially a connection to upper year Psychology students and mentors which I feel has helped me develop greatly over the years!
